Continuous monitoring of dust in ventilation systems: Zaack DUST® connected inspection hatch
Zaack DUST® is a measuring device used to estimate dust deposits in air ducts.
Maintenance operations are currently carried out either :
- Remedial: identification of a problem such as a deterioration in the functionality of the networks, resulting in both higher energy costs and poorer indoor air quality (IAQ).
- Preventively, with the risk that the maintenance service will be useless or carried out too late in relation to the recommendations of the current standard on ventilation systems (NF EN 15780).
This innovative product means you can intervene when you need to, and plan your maintenance work on your ventilation systems in advance. These advantages not only improve IAQ, but also optimise the energy and logistics of the maintenance chain.
Thanks to its optical reading, it gives you a precise measurement of the evolution of the dust in the ventilation duct.
Without having to systematically call in a specialist company to physically check the air ducts.
If the ventilation ducts are cleaned at the right time, the filters won’t clog up as quickly and the fan won’t consume too much electricity.
It complies with standard NF EN 15780 and helps limit air quality problems linked to the emission of fine particles or natural pollutants (bacteria, mould, viruses, allergens) carried by ventilation ducts, ensuring the comfort and health of occupants.

Zaack DUST® :
Pilote vos installations aérauliques
Zaack DUST® sensors can be installed on all types of existing ductwork: supply, return or extraction. It is strongly recommended that the ductwork is dust-free at the time of installation.
During installation, technicians systematically take a dust sample from the duct to calibrate the sensors and ensure reliable measurement. This sample is also used to assess the quality of the cleaning work carried out before installation.
Thanks to the installation of a LoRaWAN network gateway, the data is retrieved once a week and transmitted via a secure connection to the cloud.
Data can be consulted in real time and exported using our Zaack DUST® application.
Our application is configured with the alert thresholds recommended by NF EN 15 780. A weekly report is sent to you by e-mail to warn you when the sensors are either at 80% of the alert threshold or exceeding the thresholds on your installations.
